Why I do what I do.

Why I do what I do.

Why I do what I do.

I have discovered personally that it is imperative to our health as women to take the time to attend to our body''s needs according to our cycles and the cycles of nature. Our culture doesn''t take into consideration the ebb and flow of a woman''s life and can lead us into over activity, competition, and denial of our basic needs, depleting us of our inner resources. This shows up in women as anxiety and depression, hormone related diseases like breast cancer, osteoporosis and heart disease or syndromes like PMS, and chronic illness.

It doesn''t have to be this way!

Taking time to re-connect, honor and nurture yourself will restore balance in your life and guide you toward radiant health and wellness. It is in our nature as women to nurture others, but often we neglect our own needs depleting our inner reserves for all we want to be and do. I offer women an opportunity to establish a routine to re connect, honor and restore themselves. I help women to connect with what speaks to her heart, her cycle, the seasons and to establish a healthy relationship with her whole body, mind and spirit. I encourage women to nurture themselves back to wholeness so she can return to all that she cares for and tends to with a full heart and renewed spirit.

I do this through Healthy Happy Yoga for Women.

I have a feminine, loving, compassionate and supportive approach to teaching yoga to women. I teach women how to practice yoga in a way that honors her feminine nature, helping her to connect with her cycle and the need for different yoga and self care practices during the month and seasons of her life.

Through simple accessible practices you will be guided on the path to being healthier and happier.
